News: Our friend and club founder Ann Dwyer, died as the result of a stroke on January 13.  We will miss her wonderful energy and sense of adventure.  Ann was a pioneer of canoeing and kayaking, is credited with inventing the recreational kayak, designed and manufactured Kiwi Kayaks, boated in many countries around the world, and taught many, many people to love paddling.      ___________________________________________________________________________ Thanks for paddlin' on down to the web page of the Marin Canoe & Kayak Club! We are located in the north part of the San Francisco Bay Area in California, USA. We are a group of easy going paddlers who enjoy social, easy to moderate level canoe and kayak paddling in local rivers, lakes and bays.  First, we’d like to tell you a bit about the club—where we’ve been, where we are, and what trips and activities we will be doing this year.
